Description

Rutland State Park is a 300 acre recreational forest. Swimming, canoeing, picnicking, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, hunting and cross-country skiing are all permitted and encouraged at this diverse park. The park also offers public restrooms and a scenic viewing area of the rolling woodlands.

Directions

From Worcester - Tatnuck Sq area - follow Route 122 for about 10-15 miles into Rutland. Take a Right at the lake (which is on the left). Go up the road about 1/2 mile, take a left then an immedite right into the park. Drive about 2/3 of a mile through some beautiful scenery. You come to a small bridge and the road splits to fire road on the right and paves road on the left. There will ba a lake on the left and you'll be able to see a camping area across the lake.. Park anywhere.
